Tribute to Komitas: ACEC Celebrates the Legacy of a Musical Icon

Featuring Haig and Ani Hovsepian, and the ARTNOVA Hamazkayin Choir under the direction of Artur Veranian

The Armenian Cultural and Educational Center (ACEC) is honored to present a special tribute event dedicated to Komitas — the legendary Armenian composer, priest, and musicologist whose work laid the foundation for modern Armenian classical and folk music.

This inspiring program will feature performances by distinguished guest artists Haig and Ani Hovsepian, as well as the ARTNOVA Hamazkayin Choir, under the direction of conductor Artur Veranian.

Together, they will bring to life the timeless music and spirit of Komitas through a powerful evening of song, memory, and cultural pride.

ACEC holds Community Palm Sunday Luncheon

Watertown, MA.- The Armenian Cultural and Educational Center (ACEC) will be holding a community Palm Sunday Luncheon on Sunday, April 13, following Church service, at 2:00 pm. Delicious Mediterranean food will be served by anoush'ella. There will also be a kids' corner and a cultural program! Admission: $40.00 for adults and $25.00 for children under 12 years of age (children 5 and under free). Make sure to reserve your seating by Wednesday, April 9. See ticket details in Bio. Hamazkayin Boston Launches “NANOR” Juniors' Choir

The Armenian Cultural and Educational Center is excited to announce the launch of Hamazkayin Boston’s “NANOR” Junior Performing Choir! Under the artistic direction of Maestro Artur Veranian, "NANOR" will be a wonderful opportunity to develop vocal skills of children aged 8-14, connect them with the rich Armenian musical heritage and foster the next generation of Armenian voices1!
