First Annual Christmas Tree Lighting At The ACEC
A heartwarming start to a new annual community tradition at the Armenian Cultural and Educational Center

On Friday, December 6, 2024, the ACEC launched its first annual tree lighting ceremony in the presence of community members and friends, including State and City officials and representatives of Watertown organizations. It was a beautiful, warm and joyful event; an honor for the ACEC to see the happy faces of the kids, parents, and all the community members present. The hot chocolate station was a bliss to children and adults alike, the beautiful festive choir songs directed by Maestro Artur Veranian were heartwarming, and Santa’s visit was the “icing on the cake!”
This was the first of many future Christmas tree lighting events to come. The ACEC continues to rely on the unwavering support of the community, whose loyalty and generosity is crucial in our success to continue pursuing our mission to serve the Grater Boston community.
In 2025, the ACEC becomes 45 years old. We will continue our mission with a renewed commitment to improve and enhance the center with new services, events, and programs that serve all community members and organizations, Armenian and non-Armenian. We look forward to another year of growing and thriving together as a community.
