Kermesse-Boston 2010

This year, the Armenian-American community will host a large-scale weekend festival called BOSTON KERMESSE: One Town - Own Tent. This open air festival will be held on Saturday September 11 and Sunday September 12 at the grounds of the Armenian Educational and Cultural Center and the adjacent Nichols Avenue in Watertown. The event will showcase the historical, cultural, artistic and culinary treasures of the Armenian community.

This family oriented festival is being organized by the Armenian Educational and Cultural Center (ACEC), a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization. The proceeds of this festival will help sustain the cultural and educational endeavors of the Center. The Festival is expected to attract well over 3,000 people and will feature internationally known Armenian performers in the entertainment field.

So far, the entertainment lineup includes Armenchik, John Berberian Ensemble featuring Onnik Dinkjian,
and the Arev Armenian Folk Ensemble.
